Life Line Foods Response to COVID-19

Dear Valued Customers;

Your immune system is your body’s first line of defense against germs, viruses and infection. For over 25 years, Life Line Foods has been supplying nutrients to help build your body’s microscopic army. Now, more than ever, we remain committed to providing you with the best supplements created with the highest quality ingredients. Especially since experts tell us that those with robust immune systems weather the storm of COVID-19 better.[1]

In fact, we’re active on the forefront of health as we increase our production to meet growing demand. We’re also doing our part by taking extra precautions through vigilant sanitation practices such as sanitizing every package that comes into our plant in a separate area before it enters the main facility. This is in addition to our already rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols outlined as part of our cGMP status. In addition, all staff are being careful to follow CDC and WHO guidelines.

We want to thank you for your loyal support over the years and especially now— in the face of developments related to COVID-19. As you know, we care about you and your wellness. That’s why we hope you’ll also take the CDC and WHO recommendations seriously in order to protect your health as we have done.

For example, recommendations include cancelling gatherings or moving them online, remaining a distance of 6 feet apart, avoiding unnecessary travel, refraining from hospital and nursing home visits and suspending social gatherings and staying home.[2] You can monitor updates to these guidelines on the CDC website at Please check out this article about social distancing and how it can help prevent the rapid spread of COVID-19. It includes a helpful interactive simulator that really illustrates the concept.[3]

In addition, please remember to think of others and practice coughing and sneezing etiquette by coughing into your elbow, and thoroughly wash your hands with soap for longer than 20 seconds. These practices and other general hygienic precautions, like frequently cleaning and disinfecting common areas, can truly help limit exposure to the virus.

Even if you haven’t been able to get in on the rush for hand sanitizer or hand soap, a grease fighting dish soap can be a good substitute. This article explains why soap and handwashing help protect the body from coronavirus:  Notice, “When you wash your hands with soap and water, you surround any microorganisms on your skin with soap molecules. The hydrophobic tails of the free-floating soap molecules attempt to evade water; in the process, they wedge themselves into the lipid envelopes of certain microbes and viruses, prying them apart.”[4]

Most of all, we hope that you’ll take courage and not let the overwhelming surprise of this pandemic weigh you down. Please take care of yourself and those you love. We’re very hopeful that if we all do our part to protect ourselves and others, this intense time will be over soon. In the meantime, please use it as a chance for reflection on your own health and wellbeing. One old saying is that a happy heart works like good medicine. What makes you happy? Take time to laugh and enjoy your loved ones or explore new hobbies. In the meantime, we’ll be working hard—as we’ve always done—to provide you with products that enhance your wellness!
